A band of a special textile (PA 6.6) produced from a special cross-textile placed between the tread and the carcass decreases the possibility of having a puncture (high strength and density). It increases the rigidity and strength of the tyre crown, and decreases the tyre drag while maintaining the adhesive force. This antipuncture system does not significantly increase the weight of the tyre.
